Relevance to HPPUB:

President John Tyler (2001), written and performed by Richard A. Cheatham, of Living History Associates, Ltd. In Richmond, Va.  Cheatham, dressed up in 19th Century suit, gives a colorful impersonation of the personality of our 10th president (1841-1845), after he took office after William Henry Harrison died of pneumonia after one month in office.  Tyler is rather obscure, all right, but he stuck to his libertarian leanings and his refusal to go beyond the explicit powers in the Constitution, as in the way he refused to install differential tariffs.
