For mere short quotations, normal copyright “fair use” concepts apply. For reprints in hard-copy publications that charge when sold at retail outlets or that sell subscriptions, or for Wed sites that charge readers subscriptions for content, HPPUB will charge a “reasonable and customary” or “fair market” price for reprint rights. Payment will normally be by check. Motion pictures, videos, or television programs should give proper credit when mentioning materials from this site.
